Mowing Service Policy
Champions Landscaping provides professional recurring lawn maintenance designed to keep your property consistently maintained throughout the year.
Service Schedule
Mowing services are performed on the agreed weekly, biweekly, or seasonal schedule. Service days may occasionally change due to weather, holidays, equipment issues, or other conditions outside our control.
During periods of slower turf growth, including winter months, service frequency may be reduced as appropriate.
Weather Delays
Rain and wet conditions may delay your regularly scheduled service. Our crews will resume service as soon as conditions allow. We may adjust the schedule when mowing would damage the lawn or create unsafe working conditions.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Removing toys, hoses, pet waste, furniture, and other objects from the lawn before service.
- Keeping gates unlocked and providing access to all service areas.
- Keeping pets indoors or secured while our crews are working.
- Clearly identifying irrigation heads, invisible fencing, wires, drainage systems, or other items that may not be visible to our crews.
- Overgrown Properties
Recurring mowing pricing is based on the lawn being maintained consistently. Properties that become excessively overgrown due to skipped services, customer-requested delays, or lack of maintenance may require an additional charge before regular service can resume.
Leaves & Excessive Debris
Normal mowing includes reasonable cleanup of grass clippings. Heavy leaf accumulation, storm debris, excessive sticks, or other significant debris is not included in standard mowing and may require an additional cleanup service.
Skipping or Canceling Service
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to pause, skip, or cancel a scheduled service.
If our crew has already been dispatched or arrives at the property and cannot perform the service due to lack of access or a customer-requested cancellation, a trip charge may apply.
Payments
Recurring services are billed according to the customer's selected payment arrangement. A valid payment method may be required to remain on file for automatic payment.
Property Conditions
Champions Landscaping is not responsible for damage to hidden or improperly installed items that cannot reasonably be seen by our crews, including irrigation components, wires, pipes, landscape lighting, or similar items.
Landscaping Service Policy
Estimates & Scope of Work
Landscaping services are performed according to the approved estimate and written scope of work. Any additional work requested after approval may require a change order and additional charges.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to reserve and schedule most landscaping projects. The remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
Scheduling
Project dates are estimates and may change due to weather, material availability, site conditions, or other circumstances outside our control. Customers will be notified of significant schedule changes.
Changes During the Project
Any additions or changes requested after work begins must be approved before the additional work is performed. Additional labor and materials will be added to the final invoice.
Materials
Natural materials such as mulch, pine straw, sod, stone, plants, and soil may vary slightly in color, size, texture, and appearance.
Plant & Sod Care
Once installation is completed, the customer is responsible for proper watering and ongoing care of plants and sod.
Unless specifically stated in writing on the estimate, plants are not covered by a replacement warranty after installation.
Sod establishment depends heavily on proper watering, mowing, weather, soil conditions, and customer maintenance.
Underground & Hidden Conditions
Customers are responsible for informing Champions Landscaping of known irrigation systems, drainage pipes, invisible fencing, private utilities, septic components, wiring, or other underground items.
Unexpected underground conditions, roots, rock, buried debris, irrigation repairs, or other unforeseen site conditions may result in additional charges.
Access
Customers must provide reasonable access to the work area. Vehicles, furniture, pets, and other obstacles should be removed before the scheduled project whenever possible.
Final Approval
Customers should inspect completed landscaping work upon completion and notify Champions Landscaping promptly of any concerns so they can be reviewed.
